for a better & evolved life ..

As I wrote on my FB wall -

Thanks @everyone, we are back from Tirupati..

Though the place was really-really crowded - like most of the places are - during long weekend .. but was worth visiting for the lighting and decoration during this time .. Had nice Darshan as well ..

Apart from the Darshan, all the decoration and beauty, and the experience there that we enjoyed, what actually bothered me was the pain that saw people taking in the general queue - which was said to take 12-20 hrs..

I witnessed people sleeping/eating and living in that queue as we were walking in the streets .. there were bars, and at certain places, for many meters, there was no possibility for going to toilets as well, if one is in the middle of that queue .. stuffed ... and after that much of pain and struggle, as one reached to the main temple, and approaches Lord Venkateshwara, he hardly gets a glance for a second or two ...

The logical mind questions, is it worth taking that pain?

But whats the option one had there, he for sure can't spend lots of money and buy a Darshan time .. then I relate to the hope that one wants to bring to his life - through these activities and rituals ... A few can spend money, and they also go seek blessings and hope.. and many, can't spend that money, and they spend time and effort for the same ..

All offer, whatever they can to gain that hope to live a better life or sustain a life ..

Is it business? .. yes and no - both ...

The mind argues - the way there are mysteries like 'Bermuda Triangles', there are filed of high/positive energies that one comes seeking .. and calls it God - and it is there (equivalent examples) in all religions ...

So there is something that we all go seeking, and get a feel good factor with that ...

But, it (specially, general queue glances) also conveys how much we have to evolve as mankind, towards a better and peaceful life ...

May we all achieve it soon - where there is no queue - no selection - we are all good and equal - and have plenty of all we need/want/deserve :)
